HOMEMADE SCOTTISH FRUIT SCONES – makes 6-8
225g Self Raising Flour
50g cold butter
Pinch of Salt
25g caster sugar
Dessert spoon of baking powder
1. Measure out the flour, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the butter. Rub together with your fingertips until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar and sultanas (if using).
2.Preheat oven to 220 deg. Grease a baking tray.
